The Scientific Library is a research library providing quality resources and services which support the information needs of the entire NCI at Frederick and the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research community.  We provide personalized services designed to uncover and organize hard to find information, increase resource discovery, and promote knowledge sharing in support of the scientists and staff working to improve human health.

Our Services

Scientific Library services are provided by expert librarians and information specialists:

• Our Research Services include uncovering hard to find information, company and market research, author identifiers, and publication impact customized to your needs.

• The library’s Current Awareness Services includes newsletters and customized alerts that will help you stay up to date on news in your areas of interest.

• Our Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan Service specializes in obtaining the information you need regardless of its location – within our collection or from external libraries.

• Are you looking to brush up on your EndNote skills, search library resources, or learn something new?  We also offer One-on-One training by request. 

• Access to our Resource Collections – journals, books, and databases – are available to you 24/7.
